Mojo Ring

Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

Mojo Ring is an app published by ZELF Inc. This policy explains what happens to information when you use it. The short version: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we don’t keep your photos.

Scanning your device

When you scan a device, the app sends that one photo over an encrypted connection to our server, which asks Google’s Gemini service to name the object in it. The name comes back to the app, and the photo is discarded. We don’t store the photo or write it to our logs.

We use Gemini on Google’s paid terms, under which Google does not use the photo to train or improve its products. Google may retain it for a limited period solely to detect abuse, as those terms allow.

What stays on your iPhone

Removing your device in the app deletes its photo and metrics. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.

What our server records

For each scan, our server logs only whether the request succeeded, whether an object was recognized, how long it took, the approximate size of the photo and which model answered. It does not log your IP address, the photo or the name it returned. Your IP address is used briefly to limit how many scans can be made per minute, and that counter is not stored.

Our server runs on Cloudflare, which carries the connection between your iPhone and our server.

Sharing

A share card leaves your iPhone only when you tap Share and choose where to send it.

Permissions

Children

Mojo Ring is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
